Lexus 250UXh Hybrid Crossover
Lexus has borrowed the TNGA architecture from Toyota along with their hybrid synergy drive to create a crossover hybrid. It’s essentially the same vehicle as the Corolla Hatchback and the CH-R but with more Lexus stuff. If you want a CH-R, love buttons and knobs, and have about $10,000 you want to throw away, consider the UXh.

1) At the LA Auto Show, a Toyota spokesman told a roomful of reporters that there is no demand for EVs. This certainly clears things up in terms of Tesla, the Leaf, Volt/Bolt, Rivian, etc.
2) Ford has reported that the 2021 Mustang Mack E is already sold out.

- Harbour Air (Vancouver, CA) plans to be the world’s first fully-electric airline.
- According to Mary Barra, General Motors will spend more money in the next 5 years developing new EVs than in ICE development.
- The Toronto Transit Commission has added 60(!) new electric buses.
- Volkswagon is planning a massive switch from ICE vehicles to EVs that will see five plants around the world immediately change from ICE to EV manufacturing. Their goal is 1,000,000+ EVs per year in 2023.

3) Tesla Gigafactory 3, phase 2 will be a battery manufacturing facility.
4) The future of transportation is not cars. Not even autonomous ones.
5) Nissan reveals the new Ariya EV. Sort of.
6) Hyundai has received massive funding to beef up its autonomous vehicle research and equipment development.
7) Tesla is chewing into other manufacturers’ market share. Is there room to share the market or does any product need to be a “[blank] killer”?
